Mark played lead guitar and was one of the songwriters with Sky Saxon’s band Fast Planet in the 90’s. Sky was known for his top-40 hits “Pushin’ Too Hard” and “Can’t Seem to Make You Mine”, and was often referred to as the “Godfather of Grunge.” The band had a psychedlic feel, and featured two drummers with full kits, ala the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers. They did a West-Coast tour to promote their one album release, that included stops opening for Greg Allman in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver.
