Polk Street Recording

Mark opened his own professional 32-track recording studio in 1993, helping artists and bands from all genres make great-sounding recordings to last through the ages. His musical ear and technical skills as a sound engineer, producer, and studio musician kept the studio busy for over a decade. Located near Polk and Bush streets in San Francisco, he built his reputation as the owner/operator of “the Good Vibe Studio”, recording artists including NOFX, Harvey Mandel (Rolling Stones guitarist), Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon), The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Johnny Nitro and the Doorslammers, Granite Path, and multitudes of local SF bands trying to make it in the music biz.
